About us

A small family business, 25 years on the sea

We are a small family business with 25 years on the job. Every morning we buy the best catch from local fishermen and bring it to your door, so you can cook without the wait.

Sometimes we do not stock every fish, and there is a reason. During closed season for blue fish the nets rest so the sea can recover. At full moon fish stay off the light, and in a bora the boats stay in. We only offer what was actually caught that morning.

  • On request we clean white fish. We do not clean blue fish, because of its delicate texture and shorter life.
  • Payment is cash only.

Questions people ask

Why is there sometimes no fish?

During closed season the fish are left so the sea can recover. At full moon they stay off the light, and in a strong bora the boats stay in. We only offer what was genuinely caught that morning.

Do you clean the fish?

On request we clean white fish. We do not clean blue fish, because of its delicate texture and shorter freshness time.

What is your delivery area?

Inland Istria and the west coast: from Buje to Vodnjan, and along the shore from Vrsar to Poreč and from Barbariga to Fažana. In summer you will also find us at camps Mon Perin, Ulika, Istra and Lanterna.

How do I pay?

Payment is cash only.
